Popular as Lord Miles, Routledge has over 1,26,000 subscribers on YouTube
British YouTuber Miles Routledge is under social media scrutiny after his racist comments on India, and a “joke” about launching nuclear bombs against the country. Routledge first grabbed eyeballs after he was left stranded in Afghanistan during the Taliban’s takeover.
Who is Miles Routledge?
“As people were screaming and running around, I was befriending the Taliban and Nato special forces with a smile and my smartphone, posting everything for the world to see,” Miles said, as quoted by foreignperspectives.net.
Routledge was detained by the Taliban intelligence on his third visit to Afghanistan in late February 2023. “On my fifth time, however, I got detained for eight months by Taliban intelligence, which became my most enjoyable holiday yet. Not only did I have a great time, but I made friends with the height of the Taliban gov and have been invited back,” he had said.

When I become prime minister of England, I'll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs.

Cut to 2024, Routledge hit headlines for his racist comments against India and Africa. He recently shared his conversation with an unknown user, who threatened to find him. “I will find you, I promise, your apology video will be sweet,” the message read. He further accepted the stranger’s message request and shared his detailed address.
Routledge also mocked the Indian accent and wrote, “Saar okay lord saar good luck saar haha saar.”
In another post, Routledge “joked” about launching nuclear weapons against India. Sharing a video featuring US President Joe Biden, he wrote, “When I become prime minister of England, I’ll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs. I’m not talking (about) huge incidents, I’m itching to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction.”
The viral post received severe criticism. Reacting to it, a user commented, “A loser, who supports the radicals who are targeting and grooming white children from his community… What makes you think a traitor like you will ever get elected anywhere lol.” Another user wrote, “This guy needs urgent medical attention! I know there are no good hospitals in the UK for mental care but as an Indian I can get him admitted to the finest mental health hospital in Bangalore- NIMHANS!”
Earlier, Routledge made a distasteful comment about the population in India and Africa. In a post, he wrote, “If I was reincarnated, I would like to return as a virus to contribute to humanity by solving the overpopulation in India and Africa.”
