A police complaint is filled against Ranbir kapoor and family for hurting the religious sentiments over a viral video, in that viral video Ranbir has seen pouring liquor and wine on a cake and setting it on fire saying ” Jai Mata Di” , the case was filled in Ghatkopar Police Station in Mumbai for allegedly hurting religious sentiments while celebrating Christmas with his family on the of Christmas
The complaint has been filed by Pankaj Mishra and Ashish Rai in Bombay high court in which they have demanded to register the case against Ranbir and his family present there during the act, under section 295A, 298 , 500 and 34 of IPC( Indian panel court), however the police have not registered any case yet in the matter
in the viral video firstly liquor was poured on the cake then Ranbir set it on fire lit the cake by chanting Jai Mata Di and other family members also chanted the same after him
according to the complainants the video was made and circulated intentionally and hurt the religious sentiments of them because the fire god is invoked in Hinduism before invoking other deities but Ranbir used intoxicants deliberately while celebrating Christmas and chanted “Jai Mata Di”
