This week there will be one more day to celebrate besides Taco Tuesday. Wednesday October 4 is celebrated as National Taco Day. This day is a day to celebrate street food. More than 4.5 billion tacos are consumed annually in the US.
Taco bell free tacos national taco day-
On October 3rd and 4th, customers will be able to purchase the Taco Lover’s Pass for $10 for two days only. The chain is attempting to bring back its popular taco subs for National Taco Day.
Chico’s Tacos-
This is a tradition called an El Paso, something either hated or loved. Chico’s Tacos has four locations in El Paso. These include Alameda Avenue in South Central, Dyer Street in Central and Montwood Drive and George Dieter Drive in East Side. While tacos are simple corn or flour tortillas, what makes the food special is the toppings and fillings inside it.
Tacos, chicken, meat or seafood are garnished with a variety of vegetables such as onions, radishes, cilantro, guacamole, etc.
Metro shell out deals for National Taco Day
Several metro Detroit spots will be running some deals on Taco Wednesday, and some throughout the month, to honor Taco. No matter what kind of food you like, soft or hard, Wednesday is the day to make tacos at home or order them out. Membership gets you one taco per day for 30 days in a row.
