In June 2017, the Grammy winner was hospitalized for the first time after falling ill on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles International Airport. Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the airport after singer Brandy’s flight crew learned the situation, returned from the flight to the gate and took Brandi to the hospital.
