Pushpa 2: The Rule, an upcoming action-drama film in Telugu, is directed and penned by Sukumar for Sukumar Writings, and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The movie features Allu Arjun in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast including Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, and others, who are returning from the first film. This film serves as the second part of the Pushpa series, following Pushpa: The Rise.

Initially, 10% of the sequel’s footage was filmed concurrently with the original movie. However, Sukumar later revised the storyline, prompting the main photography to begin in October 2022. With a production budget of ₹500 crore, the film stands as one of the costliest Indian films ever made.

Theatrical Release of Pushpa 2 (2024)
The movie is set to premiere on December 6, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam. Initially slated for an Independence Day release on August 15, 2024, the film’s launch was deferred due to incomplete filming and post-production activities. Marking a milestone, it is the first Pan-Indian film to be released in the Bengali language.
Distribution of the allu arjun’s movie
AA Films secured the distribution rights for North India with a deal worth ₹200 crore. Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations obtained the rights for North America. E4 Entertainment and N Cinemas respectively acquired the rights for Kerala and Karnataka. Meanwhile, AGS Entertainment purchased the Tamil Nadu distribution rights.
